Further to my post on Ready to send RTI to High commission of India, London
After much of (wasting time) search on the Google and discovering RTI I finally managed to put together and RTI Application and sent it by Special Next Day Delivery on 04-May-10 from Post Office near Piccadilly Circus.
It costed me £5.05 to send letter by Special Next Day Delivery.
On 05-May-2010 I checked Royal Mail’s Online Tracking service to track the post. Letter was received by High commission of India, London on 05-May-2010 at 8:49 GMT by someone named BUNTINX WILLY. BUNTINX WILLY sounds western name and I thought only Indians work at Indian Embassy.
So the 48 hours of deadline for reply started from 05-May-2010 and completed it’s 48 hours of deadline on 07-May-2010 at 8:49 GMT.
I’ve requested to send the reply by first class post which would take normally 1-3 days maximum
Today is Saturday 08-May-2010 and I didn’t receive any post today in the morning delivery shift. I would wait for 2 more days and if I didn’t receive any reply from them by 11-May-2010 I would have escalate the complaint to the Appellate Authority Mrs. M. Subashini, Minister (P&I)
The never ending chain of complaint procedure has started. I’m not sure how far I’ve to go in the complain chain to just know the fucking status of my Indian Passport Renewal Status.

Hello mate,
I am same situation as you . Passport received by BUNTINX WILLY on 06/10/2010 and now HCI is reporting having no record of my application at all..
What happened to your case ? please let me know..

If it is received and they don’t have record then they might have dumped in bin or flush down the toilet.
Bad luck mate.
Send RTO to them and provide the Post Office Delivery record and ASK them where the FUCK is application.
My case? It seems it is leading towards some sort of revolution …

No one will ever reply from High Commission of India.
you have to send RTI to them and send it ASAP. See my other posts on how to send RTI.

Hi,
Have you finally get your Passport Reissued? What is your status? Any way to find out the status of Passport Reissue application sent by post to HCI London? I’m also like one of those several people who are trying to find out the status of passport reissue and not able to reach HCI through Phone, Fax or Email!
Please Help.

Hi Priya,
It is over 1 year now and the CROOKS and THUGS at High Commission of India haven’t done anything. I’ve filed petition in High Court of Karnataka against Ministry of External Affair and Regional Passport Office Bangalore. The case is pending for admission. It is over 3 weeks now since the case was filed. Let’s see when this case is accepted in High Court. I’ll keep you people updated.

Hi,
Can anyone please advise if they have got any lead on this. I have recently sent my passport to HCI India, and is received by Willy Buntinx, though when I checked with HCI, they said, they have not received my passport. I am now worried, as what should I do next. I have found Willy Buntinx’s profile on Facebook and his name has the only record in the UK.

Thanks.

They fucked your application. File a petition in High Court in the state where your passport was issued originally and screw these assholes. Don’t waste your time like I did. Till now I’ve wasted 13 months of time and over 10 Lakhs of rupees in bribing various corrupt officials and filing cases in various court.

You have taken up a good cause. I invite you to join hands with us at the Facebook page, calling for Reform of the Indian High Commission. I know it’s not going to be easy alone, whoever it may be. How about giving it a try in one voice?
Please check out the page and make your decision. Best Wishes.

Hi,
I am writing to clear the name of Buntinx Willy.
I stumbled in this site after googling Buntinx Willy. I was also worried when my passport was received by Buntinx at HCI. I wasn’t sure who it was. Your webpage made me to worry more.
Fortunately, my documents were processed and returned to me in 2days!!
So, this person actually works there.
I am sorry that you are having problem with HCI. I also had problems before. I wish you good luck with your documents.

Why? You are Buntinx Willy’s agent?
Yes of course this person works there or else who signs? May be this person is some sort of mail receiver or may be receptionist or something.
So no need to clear this person’s name, it all well clear ;)

I had sent my passport using Royal Mail sealed in front my eyes, I got a reply saying we got the envelop but there was no passport in it. It was received by Buntix Willy, Royal Mail says if the envelope was damaged it shouldn’t have been collected alternatvely they need the envelope to believe it was damaged.

If you have used good quality envelope then I don’t see any reason why it will be damaged.
But there are good chances that the envelope can be damaged. In Royal mail they used automatic sorting machines which sorts out the envelopes and sometimes envelopes get caught in the machine and get damaged.
I’m not sure how you sent the passport but you should always send passport by recorded, next day delivery as these letters are, probably, not fed into machine to get sorted.
If you have used ordinary post then you are done, your passport is lost and no one can help.
But before giving hope contact Royal mail and ask them where is the passport. And if Royal mail says that they have delivered it safely then High Commission of India clerks have damaged it.
Just to let you know High Commission Of India clerks and officials DELIBERATELY destroy, damage, or throw away passport. Passport is not an ordinary document and you just can’t miss it. With so many incidents of High Commission Of India loosing passport it is simply logical to conclude that they do it deliberately.
Why they do is not difficult to guess, the first fact is that they are fucking corrupt, next is they don’t fucking give any damn about Indian passports, next they are just bunch of ass holes enjoying royal holiday paid by poor Indian’s tax money.

I applied for OCI. The Special delivery was signed for by ‘Buntinx Willy’ on 12/09/2011. Using the HCI website tracking it appear my application has started to be processed as of today – 19/09/2011.

I have also sent my OCI application by special delivery, which was signed by the famous Buntinx Willy. It really made me nervous when I saw that name, but I will try to be optimistic that my application will be processed and not thrown in the garbage :)

Below is the link to track OCI application status
https://passport.gov.in/oci/OnlineOCIenquiry.jsp
Be warned your browser may have security issues with this link. Chrome certainly does.
My OCI application has been successful and the documents are at the HCI.
All I have to do is collect, which means collecting a token in the morning and then wait till 4pm to collect the OCI.

Hi there, I just wanted to say that I too have just had my passport application that had been sent special delivery signed for by BUNTINX WILLY. However, mine was for an Australian passport sent to Australia House on the Strand in London.

Lol!
This is strange, how can one person work for 2 High Commissions?
Or may be this is an arrangement with the Post Office that one person receives all posts signs for them and then pass it to relevant High Commissions?
